After three years in JP Nagar-BTM-Jayanagar we have now launched our second print edition in Koramangala and HSR.
As some of you may have seen the announcements, Citizen Matters' second print edition has launched in Koramangala-HSR layout from 14 January. This is a very exciting development for us and is inline with our plan to foster hyperlocal communities around Bengaluru through independent coverage of current affairs, communitiy and culture. Two fortnightly editions are currently going out of our office every alternate week, one for the JP Nagar-BTM-Jayanagar area and one for Koramangala-HSR.
Like the active community in Jayanagar-JP Nagar area, Koramangala and HSR Layout's citizens too are at the forefront of several city reform initiatives. Many of them already know Citizen Matters through our web magazine.
Some of the champions there are RTI activists who have exposed wrong-doing over and over again and gotten authorities to remedy matters. Others have won hard fought battles at courts to protect lakes from land grabs. Some are regularly involved with working with local authorities to ensure public areas are kept clean and particularly, clear of garbage.
Equally, some are also community builders conducting events to enrich the lives of citizens. Like Adarsh Residency and Mantri Tranquil in JP Nagar, one of the apartments in Koramangala (NGV complex) is also also an award winner for solid waste management.
Please do let your friends and family in Koramangala and HSR know about Citizen Matters availability there and we look forward to working with both communities together! Like with our JP Nagar - Jayanagar edition, we hope this magazine will raise the bar for a community-city voice in Koramangala and HSR too and be an indepth platform for awareness, activities and fun.
Apartments we reach: National Games Village, Mantri Classic, Raheja Residency, Prestige Acropolis, Embassy Tranquil, Oakwood, Mantri Sarovar, Sobha Daffodil, Royal Habitat, Purva Vantage, Sai Poorna heights.
