Some times while filling petrol for my vehicles, example for 200rs, the petrol bunk worker usually do this in two transactions. First they put it for 150rs then apologize and again put petrol for 50rs. But when I check the fuel indicator I find that 200rs worth petrol is not put, since fuel indicator is showing less reading. This usually happens when the cashier disturbs me while I am checking the amount dialed in the meter by asking "Sir! Are you paying by Cash or Card?" The second instance is that, if I have asked to fill petrol for 200rs, they fill it for 250rs and ask 250rs instead of 200rs. If I argue that it is there fault and remove the additional petrol manually from my vehicle, they say "Sorry Sir, I have filled only for 200rs? ". I see that in my fuel indicator also showing that only 200rs petrol is filled. Can anybody help me on how to avoid such cheating or tell me which petrols bunks do this so that I can avoid it future?

Pleae write in to the concerned company - it works.

I had a complaint with IOC on Puttenhalli road for less petrol being filled in the car - they called back to conduct a check at the petrol bunk.

Try it and report it here; so that others can come to know of this too.
