I work in ITPL,only 15kms from BTM,but it takes 1.5 to 2hrs to cover such a small distance. Why the planners are not building a by-pass road. We can have bypass from Whitefield to Bannerghata road/electronic city. There is no connection from HSR to BTM 2ndstage,it will easier to go to JP nagar then.Always we have to come through silk-board. The silk-board circle can be cut short to increase road space at the junction. Why are we depending only on Outer ring road, building fly-overs there.Did anyone think what will happen after 5 years, there should be alternative roads. I have come to Bangalore after 5years,i find it same, except new companies and shopping malls. Why the goverment is not building newer and bigger roads.

hi sir
we understand your concern but you see any amount of infrastructure there is proportionate increase in people coming to bangalore and this contributes to increase in traffic.
this has resulted in so many trees being cut imagine at what level the frustration of bangaloreans has increased due to nature totaly spoilt.
this has accounted in increase in diseases the sufferers are the poor people .

the weather what once was so good has gone to worse.

I totally agree with Ms.Bhanu. Until and unless traffic evaporation happens, this issue continues to go.Howmuchever road you built, you are going to have more vehicles on the road.Hence g overnment should look out for mpre public transport facilities, which is affordable for everyone, raise the tax on own vwhicle owners so that before buying too many swanky cars they will think about it twice.
Only such kind of alternative is going to help Bangalore, otherwise we have to bear the brunt of climate change, water issues....... the list is unending.
