Recently, we, the residents of one of the BDA layouts in Bangalore had open-house interactive meeting with the newly elected corporator. After hearing our grievances, the corporator has made some of the following remarks: 1. Because of your last birth’s sin you have been allotted sites here and you are living here; and so nothing can be done for certain sufferings. 2. For any civic problems, you can call me over phone and inform; and don’t make any e-mails to anybody like BBMP or BWSSB 3. When an aged lady asked his cell phone No., he said, what madam, you don’t know my number, it’s available in all public booths, and so you can ask and take it from there. In this scenario, what can we do? Can you please suggest me how to handle such issues.
