Noise Pollution caused by Hospital We are residents of Adarsh Rhythm apartments behind Fortis hospital on Bannergatta Road. Fortis Hospital have their chiller units near our apartments. These units are unusually noisy. The current decibel level is 75db without the fans on. You can imagine what would be the noise with the fans on. We have got a reputed agency to measure the noise pollution levels and we have shared these alarming levels with Karnataka Pollution Control board and with Fortis management. We residents are constantly subjected to noise 24*7 , 365 days a year. There are small children, housewives , elders who are subjected to non-stop noise. We are all aware of the effects of constant exposure to noise. Our complaints to Pollution Board, Fortis management has been useless. There has been no effort to reduce the noise. We are shocked how a reputed hospital can subject citizens to pollution on one side , while talking about excellent health care in the media.
