Dear Citizens, 7th Aug 2010 Let me introduce myself first. I am Rajagopal, 62,retired, living in HBR layout Bangalore. My problem is, though, I have two Indane gas cylinders, and I face lot of problem in booking a refill gas cylinder every month. As of date my Indane Gas Distributor in Bangalore will only take a new refill booking 30 days after of the delivery of the prior gas cylinder. They also deliver at least 3 days after booking. Thus, each cylinder takes atleast 31-34 days to arrive, and my usage is 28-30 days. While browsing the internet, I got the below quoted info and I showed it to my gas agent. But he is telling this document is valid in Chandigarh only and not in Bangalore. So to solve this problem, can anyone please throw some light on this issue so that it will be useful for all Bangalorians. Or is it required to take fresh RTI in Karnataka? I request you to please oblige and do the needful guidance. Thanking you, Best regards A.Rajagopal Visit for more information: http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/40223-...-cylinder.html Thread:NO TIME BAR FOR REFILL OF GAS CYLINDER Most of Gas distributors do not book the cylinder before a periodd of say more than n 20 days after the cylinder has been supplied. When I demanded referring the above RTI with the Indane agency at Mangalore, got the below mentioned reply:-
1. The software installed @the booking office doesn't allow to key-in the next refill booking prior to 21 days.
2. Only 12 cylinders/year.
Can anyone suggest relevant to this?
