Traffic @ KR Puram (From Kasturi Nagar side towards Whitefield) is a regular menace. Isn't there an respite to this? Imagine the amount of money wasted here due to time, fuel, pollution (Noise, Visual & Air) etc. A quick look at the root cause (even by a layman) will point to following: 1) Firstly, bad road right in front of Lowry Memorial High School. There was a road hump which has worn out. Asphalting the road here could be first quick solution. 2) Secondly, people crossing right below the KR Puram hanging bridge is the next problem. Pedestrian over-bridge at this point would help ease the traffic as the volume of people crossing is high and vehicles are stopped frequently to allow these people cross. I understand we may have design issue (Due to very bad design of the KR Puram hanging bridge itself) but we have great minds who can solve this. Probably we can run a foot bridge as same height as the road above. 3) Thirdly, the vehicles taking U Turn/ Right turn here. If this can be overcome, this will further ease the traffic. Hope the right authorities look into this and help the citizens who commute this stretch and also help reduce pollution due to this. Thanks
