I availed the facility of TTMC at Jayanagar for the secondtime yesterday(4th March). It was an enjoyable experience since I saved the trouble of reaching Corporation office by car. However, I noticed that the car park area set aside in the terrace is woefully inadequate for an area like Jayanagar. BMTC has leased out the first floor to RTO. I wonder if it is the lure for rent or whether the building is inadequately designed for additional car/2 Wheeler load. Whatever it is we have failed to plan for the future! Is there a way we can correct this situation. As it is Jayanagar traffic is bursting in the seams. Comments please!

we have seen 'park and ride' being widely used by youth and others in developed countries even for long distance daily commuting. I think the facility in a city like Bangalore perhaps is mainly to cater to the needs of two wheeler commuters which has been increasing day by day in this city over years. There is need to create more awareness on one hand and provide more public transport facility on the other.
