Should education institutes be a money sucking leaches charging students for anything and everything which is no where registered as revenue and no taxes paid for the same. KNS institure of technology run by C K Jaffer Sharief(chaiman governing counsil) seems to have found innovative ways of making money. Following is the concern- 1.every engineering student in KNS are forced to pay a standard sum of over rs.600 in lab equipment damages or other such pretex before evey exam etc failing which they are not given NOC or hall tickets as the casse may be . In truth there is no such valid equipment damage or other fees /penalties.There are no receipts given so no questions can be raised. 2. The teachers and lab assistants have been collecting bribe of Rs.600 to Rs.1000 before sigining the certificates during practical examination and lab jornal submission Then there is the crowning moment of this college's reputation. KNS instute of technology it self provides NO placement services for its students . all they do is if there is any placement interviews happening in other colleges that they claim to hve tie ups with; they provide the address and ask their students to go there and attend the interview- students travel to all these far of locations on their own to attend interviews where they are the last ones to be interviewed post the host college and other students get their chance hence every time they are in stranded locations attending interviews till 12 am in the night where they are the last choice.college takes no responsibility of their female students having to attend these interviews where there will be no transport facility by the time iterviews are overs(12am to 1 Am in the night) KNS has no market value amongst corporates hence there is no company coming their way . They flaunt their placement cell on their website which in truth is just a hog wash. inspite of this the college charges all its students who end up securing job in any such unorganized interviews (through their own merit and persistance) Rs.6000 saying that its their placement charges- they have threatened students that they will not receive their certificates,NOC and appointment letters etc without this payment. What I fail to understand is that when even the top notch management colleges do not charge their students for placements and assist their students to the fullest to secure good jobs - why should an corrupt ragging ridden college like KNS charge their students anything at all. KNS is known for its afiliation with certain political figures who are founders, funders and controllers of this college and also how well they have been sheilding some chosen students who due to their notorious ragging and rowdisum background are priced candidates for the next set of political community. more than 3 forth of the students here are from families middle class or lower economic stature who are either studying on student loans or with parents struggling to make ends meet. This sure sounds like a 1980 Movie story- however the sad truth is that it is happening here and now.

Can you please showcase with the evidence so that you can prove your point.

I completely disagree with whatever you said, 70-80% of students have been placed this year.

I believe you dont have the aggregate nor the skills to crack the interview.
