We own a condo which was registered some 15 months ago and we lived in it for about 7 weeks and now we are away and returning next month for the sale of the condo due to health decline and changed family circumstances After a painful wait it appears that the Occupancy Certificate (OC) has been granted. My question is assuming that we need an OC for our own condo who issues it and what is the procedure? SEcondly, It would appear that is their is need for bifurcation of the Katha as the development has multiple owners. However, at least now can we now pay the property taxes as the promoter has paid only for the land on which the complex was built. After the bifurcation must we invariably get our own Katha to sell or can the condo be registered in the buyers name as things take too long to materialize and we cannot wait indefinitely.
