The Commissioner 22 july 2011 BBMP Bangalore Road requires asphalting urgently We live on 8A cross, Pampa Extn, Kempapura, Hebbal, Bangalore-560024 and there are around 15 to 20 families residing for the last 10 years. The road or lane you call it, is just 11 to 12 feet wide and has not seen asphalting at all. The lane i.e. 8A cross was dug up for UGD lines and thereafter metalled. Although two years have elapsed so far this lane has not been asphalted. In spite of repeated complaints to the concerned authorities including the elected representative nothing has been done till now. Movement on this lane either on foot or by two wheeler/car has become very difficult due to this. Due to continuous rain, the road has become very dangerous particularly for school children/ senior citizens/women and others. Further, it starts flooding and in the absence of storm water drains the whole area becomes unfit for use. Recently, several roads in the Bhuvaneswari nagar and other areas in kempapura have been asphalted. But the stretch of the 8th A cross road Pampa Extn, Kempapura next to RR Round Hill apartments leading to Godrej Villas has been left out without asphalting. Added to this, lot of snakes are seen moving freely in our area which come from Parsi Tower of Silence located adjacent to our layout. There is also insufficient lighting in the area during nights. It becomes worse during power cuts. We the unfortunate residents are living with constant fear of snake bites. We sincerely request the authorities to kindly visit the area & take necessary actions to tar the road. We also earnestly hope your organization will help in addressing our problems at the earliest please. Yours sincerely
