I am in my last stage of pregnancy (due in a week's time) and I contacted (on 30th Sep) Alankrita services (www.Alankritaservices.com) for a maid to take of the newborn and also cook. The agency charged me with a registration fees of Rs 6500/- and there is no maid till date. They sent one maid who herself has a 5-month daughter. This maid went back within 2 hours of joining since her daughter was crying constantly and she is not able to manage her. The agency is now completely unresponsive saying they can not provide a maid nor will they refund the money. Their attitude is also very rude. They say "We can not provide a maid...we will not refund your money..now what is your problem?" They do not do background check though they claim so. Please do not contact this agency for any kinds of services. There is already a case registered in consumer forum by someone else against this agency and I am also going to file one.
