Dear All, I live in Purva Fountain Square. There are 2 bus stops near my place, named - Spice Garden stop (both directions). Its a heavy traffic area just before the Marathahalli bridge (going towards HAL) and there are large number of people(including school kids & senior citizens) crossing road at that point with no median crossing and no foot over bridge. Its a highly accident prone are with vehicle speeding aggressively while coming down the bridge. The side roads joining the main road creates more chaos and increases the risk. Its high time that Municipal Corporation wakes up and does something for us to have a safe road crossing.

After coming from chaotic traffic at Marathahalli shopping area and then haphazard BMTC buses stopped at Marathahalli bridge stop, the only place were people can speed is at Marathahalli bridge towards Kundalahalli. This road is too steep, interestingly it has Speed limit symbol with number 30. It is very clear that this place is very dangerous for pedestrians crossing. May be traffic police is waiting for any fatal incident to happen to put speed humps or foot over bridge there, just like how when a volvo bus crashed at HAL many speed humps were put at HAL.

Dear Residents of Purva Reviera, Rohan Vasantha and Purva Fountain square. Yesterday night (Dec 1st) around 11PM there was a scary accident on Marathahalli bridge and since an ambulance was there someone was definitely seriously injured. Should we wait till something happens to someone from our apartments or should we take action so that the overbridge is installed quickly? Can we have a peaceful demonstration on a saturday for bringing this to the notice of concerned authorities.
