I have two disabled persons and three senior citizens in my house at RT Nagar., Bangalore.I am unable to get UID cards for last six months .When I approached the RT Nagar post office earlier, they told me that form will be given after jan 2012.Now they are informing that they have stopped giving these cards. Also I am unable to locate anyother naerby place where a disabled person can go and get the UID card. Can some one help me in this regards ? Thanks. Venkatesan Contact : 9980682943

I can understand the difficulty,the govt has not made any special provisions for disabled persons.The job of collecting the data has also been entrusted to sub contractors other than post offices.I think there definetly will be a registering authority near your place.On request they will accomadate your request but for the process they have to be taken to the spot.By the way the last date is supposed to Feb 19th.
