There are far too many cars and two wheelers on the road. Folks even drive to a gym or a park two kilometers away for a jog. I find it quite amusing. Why not invest in a bicycle or simply walk?Burn calories,not fossil fuel!

If using a 2/3/4 wheeler is unavoidable, people could try to use small, fuel-efficient vehicles and maximize the no. of passengers.

Reduce the use of plastic cover.
-carry a cloth bag or
-keep a cloth bag inside your car or bike
-order the stuff from the nearby provision store

Save Water by using a simple, inexpensive FOOT TAP. This prevents water from being wasted when we wash, shave or brush at the sink as the normal tendency is to leave the water running since both hands are occupied.

just did two things:
1. dug a compost pit 2'x2'x4' in one corner of my garden. it eats up all my kitchen waste!
2. started carrying a cloth bag on my morning walks for vegetables.
surprise! our garbage output reduced by 2/3rds instantaneously. now we only put it out once in 3 days for the BBMP collector.. and it is mostly plastic from pre packed groceries and junk mail.
