Need a bicycle!!

Ever since taking part in the BSA cyclothon with my old and trusty BSA trailblazer, I have been thinking of getting hold of a sturdy bike for regularly communting to office which is approximately 7 Kms away. Currently ride to office 2 days a week on the trailblazer but its in its tenth year and canot take more than that.Even an old one in need of servcing is welcome as can do basic repairs myself and can get parts replaced if necessary.

Do get in touch and the BSA is already pledged to my domestic helps son as soon as I get a replacement.

One of my patients is physically challenged with his both legs polio affected and he moves in a wheel chair. He has a 10 year old daughter studying in IV Std and is finding it difficult to make both ends meet. He is trained in Computer operation and needs a computer (used will also do) for his daily livelihood.

As a part of our Grama NavaChetna project which Rotary Yelahanka Club is implementing at Hegdi Halli near the foot of Nandi Hills, we require

a) Used sewing machines in working condition (20 units) for women from families below the poverty line. They are being trained to tailor and manufacture bags and various items that will be exported and sold in urban centres. This is to empower women to access alternate income in poverty stricken homes.

b) Computers (Desktops) - to train rural men and women,farmers, children of farmers to get self employed as a part of rural BPO activity and database jobs

I am looking for a treadmill which shows calories, time, distance, has inclines and speed. Can you also tell me how much electricity it consumes monthly, if used regularly or everyday? Do you have a servicing/warranty still on it?

Please let me know all details and send me a pic.if possible. Looking to buy asap. But definitely not at a high-end price. Also don't mind a 2-3 year old one depending upon the low price.

I am with an NGO which is working in the area of providing education to underprivileged children. We are looking for philanthropists who can donate books on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Science, History and other subjects to enhance the knowledge of the children.
