Our classic Paradise lay out in Begur Road is having about 300 sites and more than 200 families are living here. This lay out is falling undr BBMP and we pay taxes to BBMP. But BBMP is doing nothing except receiving Property taxes for clearing garbages,do not undertake for road lights electricity, no drainage connections nor provide water. There are more than 50 stray dogs roaming here all over the Lay out posing a big menace. All efforts to reach BBMP Officials are in vain. What right the BBMP has to collect the taxes and not carry out basic requirements to the citizens. With which criteria the electoral candidates come and show their faces to seek our votes only that too at the time of election?

BWSSB handles drainage and water. For stray dog menace, if BBMP doesn't respond, you can contact any of the organizations listed on http://www.weforanimals.com/animal%20welfare%20organizations/animal-welfare-organizations-15.htm

If people in the layout get together and pool some funds, you can get an animal welfare organization to come and spay/neuter them. A much more effective and time efficient solution.

Is'nt the duty of BBMP to handle civic problems?

I agree with Sangitha - the model is sustainable & self reliant. It will work!
If society groups join hands. this can be done!
