After getting fed up of removing the CONTACT AIRTEL posters in Cox Town / Coles Park area, I referred the matter to authorities in AIRTEL and they responded immediately by Email and over phone. In fact Airtel wants all the subscribers to go for E Statements but their channel partners / agents spend reams of paper in these hand bills which are pasted all over BESCOM poles. Fuse Boxes and stapled on trees. I am not sure how far their promises would last but I want citizens of all areas to take the initiative to stop this nonsense of defacing / disfiguring Bangalore. I would also be happy if some one could give me the contact persons in BBMP for lodging complaints.

You could call the BBMP officers below to understand the advertisement notice display/removal policy. Although the last handles tree management primarily, he's responsive and may act or advise on pasting posters on trees. (Fyi, the BBMP website provides no information on the relevant rules).
