I am wondering why Govt. is removing the black granite slabs which were in the Bus Stops and incurring expenditure unnecessarily. They should renovate only OLD Bus STOPS/SHELTERS NOT THE NEW ONES. They should leave the NEW BUS SHELTERS as the slabs are quite new. They should replace only broken slabs.

govt removed or is it stolen?

Either contractors are removing them to place at new bus shelter, after bills are already paid for old ones, or there is theft going unreported both to BMTC and police. Blissfully happy.

Bus shelters-I wonder there are already two bus shelters side by side on both sides of Ring road near Hosakerehalli petrol bunk. These are being used by some to sleep even during day time since no bus stops here. One more new bus shelter is coming up near Gupta college to replicate one existing on opposite side. BmTC must be having flush of money for building shelters but not to augment the fleet of buses!
