How to start off is the problem. The street light from KRPuram Rly Stn to BBMP Mahadevapura Office is not on for the last one month. I had done all that can be done by conscious citizen. Gave a complaint ot the counter of the BBMP office on 23rd march following it up till day. Met briefly JC MDpura while he was going out of office with spefic request to watch the road for lights after confirming that he moves towards Rly stn. I followed it up with Email to Com BBMP, JC MDpura. An item in the Times of India under Myvoice etc., appeared. Earlier say four to five months ago the same problem came. EE BDA says he has given all the particulars about handing over this stretch to BBMP. Now people are telling that the transfer was not properly by BDA to BBMP. I am wondering where the BUCK has stopped??? THE NET RESULT IS NO STREET LIGHTS. LADIES ARE WALKING IN THE EARLY MORNING. NO LIGHTS AT THE BUS STOP OF SINGAYYANAPALYA. VEHICLES PLY AT BREAKNEXK SPEED SOMETIMES WITHOUT LIGHTS. ONE CAN IMAGIE THE PLIGHT. I AM NOT GAINING A SINGLE PAISA ON THIS, WHETHER LIGHTS ARE ON OR NOT. AS A CITIZEN MATTER, LET ME WAIT AND WATCH ONLY. SENT EMAIL TO TV9 WHICH WAS BOUNCED. SWAMYNATHAN SR. CITIZEN

Met authorities who matters on this issue yesterday. I think they have a problem with finance. Commisioner at the Head office (Mr. B L Meena) should say go ahead. Till such time, what to say, wait for an untoward matter to happen Tried to contact Commissioner. Could not!!!
Somebody rang me back, enquired whether bulbs etc., are there!!!!. Told him all fixtures are there but no ENERGY!!!!!. I have no other go than to wait. Shall I call it Red-tapism!!!

This website has become my dairy on this subject. On 13th of April 2010, it seems Commissioner had called JC MDpura on this subject and had a detailed discussion. The result I could not ascertain on that day. Next day was a Holiday. On 15th as usual, in my itenary, I visited BBMP Mahadevapura with the intention of Meeting JC. But was told in the Office that my job (!!! I donot know when it has become my job, no profit for me, anyways) is done that lights rectification is given to Land Army of BBMP(!) and within a Week you will get lights. I will be happiest man in this city for I would achieve without the help of Corporator but WITH THE HELP JC,EE ELE ETC., OF BBMP. My good wishes to them. But I wait still

A RAY OF HOPE HAS STARTED. SOME FOUR TO FIVE LIGHTS WERE ON FROM BBMP OFFICE TOWARDS POLICE STATION. THEY
HAVE GIVEN THIS WORK LAND ARMY AND THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY WHERE FIXTURES DEFECTIVE CAN BE RECTIFIED.
HOPE THE WHOLE STRETCH WOULD BE READY BY WEEK END.!!!

Back to square one. What was bright in the morn has become dark, as observed today. The work was to be done by Land Army as per my information gathered on 16th instant. I WONDER RED TAPISM IS ACTING. The word ARMY kindled my hope that the work will be done briskly, but it is not so, Who is responsible. BBMP commisioner has done his job and so also JC MDpura. Then where is the hitch. I am celebrating 2nd month darkness on this road. When can I expect that this work will be completed in full including replacement of defective ones.

just now I sent an email to JC Mahadevapura. There is report.jcmp@gmail.com, for which I sent a copy. It bounced back. Reason I could not understand. There is a email ID for all under bbmp.gov.in, which I do not think is operated by many. As I understand passwords were not given to the end users !!!! (that is what is said) I AM NOT MISSING MY MAIN ISSUE !!! The lights on this road is yet to be operative. I am dreaming. I think I have to go on writing on this issue till my last breath THE POWERS THAT BE CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE LAYMAN'S PROBLEM. NADEMUNDE NADEMUNDE NUGGI NADEMUNDE ETC.,

Today I had the prevelege of speaking to EE ele BBMP MDpura. I was given to understand that Overhead cable is to arrive from DELHI!!! The type of cable is not in the market I was told. DAMN WITH BANGALORE. You cannot get a cable required by the BBMP???. Is it that Bad.?
I asked whether it will take a month, 6 months, a year (Pun intended) to get the cable. I did asked the Tel No of the company.EE promised to get back to me, which I am yet to receive. NOW THERE IS NO OTHER GO THAN TO SUFFER, NOT ONLY ME BUT ALSO OTHER CITIZENS. EE has told me that in a weeks time it will be done. WE LIVE ON HOPES ISNT IT??. PRAY(PREY) FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL.tHIS IS THE TRAINING TO LIVE IN DARKNESS.

I observe some patch up has been made with patchup lighting. It is not done by the Land Army. correct me if I am wrong. I have not asked whether the Over head cable has arrived from Delhi or not. Let us wait, having waited so many months. I am only surprised that not a single soul has given the comments on this issue. What should I think??? SAB CHALTA HAI ATTITUDE!!! WHEN IT WILL CHANGE. PERHAPS PEOPLE MAY BE BUSY WITH SORDID EPISODE OF HALAPPA!!!

Yesterday I rang up EE Ele BBMP to know whether Cable have come from Delhi !!!. Some only have come he said. The condition remains the same. What Land Army
doing I do not know. By the way, I asked for the specification of the cable. EE ele promised to ring me back with the info. I am yet to get. Who will wake them up. A major ACCIDENT on this road will fix the BBMP with the notings by me!!!! CONDITION 'NO CHANGE'

Pretty longtime I have logged in. I am just satisfied that the lights I walk in the early morning are on for 10days or so. JE concerned, volunteered to talk to me on roadside. I told him it is patchup job. I do not think the land army would do this job as at present. There are no lights at the intersection of the roads. The stretch between QUEST TO HP is not working, which I informed the JE. Let me see. Instead of a blind eyes squint eye better Is it not!!!!
