Now it is expected that Railway Overbridge at Kadugodi will be completed soon. It is the time to think about extension of Volvo bus service at least upto Safal Market as lot of residential layout are upcoming in this stretch. Kadugodi bus stand can be relocated somewhere near Safal Market where the land prices are definitely cheaper as compared to the existing location of bus stand.

Sub:Suggestion on Volvo Bus Route Deviation (335 E)
Dear Sir,
I registered my query vide TTNO BMTC-0420101420-1308 in April 2010 and followed up once again later but I could not receive any response from you so far.
My request is TO EXTEND THE VOLVO BUS SERVICE ON ROUTE 335E FROM KADUGODI BUS STAND TILL SAFAL MARKET / BEARYS GLOBAL RESEARCH TRIANGLE in view of lot of residential complexes upcoming on this stretch. If the bus service is extended it will be a big relief to the residents and will also generate additional revenue for BMTC.
Please look into the matter seriously and revert.
Regards

Murari Agarwal

This make sense because right now from the Bus depot till Hopefarm there aren't any residential complexes. Whoever boards the bus from the depot is basically crossing the railway line (which itself is a trouble when you find trains stationed in between for eternity).
Hopefully they take some action. Do let us know when they get back to you!

Is there any update on this? This is something definitely needed since this part of whitefield is quite cut off from the other side except for the normal bmtc buses. The volvo extension to this area would certainly be a huge help and increase volvo usage.

Thanks for some comments here. I myself stopped persuing the matter further looking into poor response. I request all of you to send emails to Mr. Samanagi Ramagowda Chief Traffic Management Office BMTC, Bangalore, email- ctmobmtc@gmail.com for extension of the Volvo Service on 335E route beyond Kadugodi explaining the need and approx no of people who will be using the service, if extended. Please give a vide publicity to it.

HI Murali, We, apartment owners at Nitesh Forest Hills (along with other residents in the vicinity), are approaching BMTC to extend the Volvo services beyond Kadugodi. Did u got poor responce from BTMS side or there were not many people interested?

It is very strange! when volvo buses were introduced from srinagara to Domlur it was running empty. Now it has picked up, many volvo buses have been introduced in various routes, why buses from Bank colony to Mysore road side no volvo bus is introduced. 500k etc needs to be extended atleast upto yeshwantapura if not Hebbal.

Thanks you Murari for your excellent initiative.I am buying a flat in Nitesh Forest Hills. It would be a great advantage and benefit for all of us who are residing or planning to reside in this area, if we get Volvo buses routes extended from Kadugodi to Safal market. And I don't see any reason why it can't be done when lot of residents and upscale apartments are coming up in this area. Let's keep the balls rolling.
